About Me

Carmen Lookshire is a professional vocalist serving the Albany and Capital Region area.
She performs for restaurants, wineries, breweries, weddings, funerals, corporate events, festivals, and private events.

She performs various styles of music including jazz standards, soul, country, classic rock, and pop. 
Carmen is known for her pure vocals and engaging stage presence.

Carmen started singing in church and school musicals as a teen. Although her parents aren’t performers themselves, there was always music on in the house! Carmen received her Bachelor’s degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY and her Master’s from Skidmore in Saratoga, NY. She did not go to school for music, but singing was always in her heart! After 5 years working for NYS government she left to pursue music full-time and has been doing so ever since.
